Trisha Bauman, American, has danced in the French companies of Mathilde Monnier, Alain Buffard and Daniel Larrieu, and in the New York companies of RoseAnne Spradlin and Vicky Shick. Research and performance collaborations include London dancer/ choreographer Rahel Vonmoos, French dance critic/historian Laurence Louppe, Swiss painter Mathias Schauwecker and American choreographer/improvisor Lisa Nelson.

 A certified practitioner of Body-Mind Centering and Laban Movement  Analysis/ Bartenieff Fundamentals, she guest teaches around the world  in the fields of dance, theater and somatics research. Favorite venues include PARTS/ Rosas, Centre national de la danse , ImPulsTanz Festival, Sasha Waltz Company, Compagnie Philippe Decouflé and Sydney Dance Company. She is currently in rehearsal for a new piece with choreographer Herman Diephuis which premieres October, 2007, at Le Manège in Reims. 

What do you teach? I teach a variety of types of classes, depending on the context.  For dance companies and festival workshops, I teach Contemporary Technique, Improvisation and Composition.
